Well it starts... It just doesn't go past bootscreen yet
Give it some time to dry out, which is gonna be hard at 14 degrees inside the house.

Re: OH MY GOD!!!
Right, so.... I had the laptop stand out to dry for the night. Suffice to say, at this point in time it doesn't even start up anymore.
I opened it up this morning and say that there was corroding all over the place. Gonna try
and clear it up
Ohyea, my insurance isn't gonna cover it cause I dropped tea over it myself. Just great.

As funny as it sounds, put it in a bowl of rice, or wrap individual components in newspaper. Both will suck out any moisture left in it, and with the rice, make sure you get some compressed air to blow the rice dust off of it before hooking it back up

Lol, dude... It's a 17 inch laptop. My bowl is even half that size!!!
Anyway I was writing this on the time you posted.
I bought a secondhand laptop. The Toshiba satellite C670-13h.
Good stuff for a secondhand. 2.1 ghz intel i3, 6gb memory ddr3
and lots of other coolstuff. Oh lol 17 inch widescreen, that'll be fun. Only thing is I have get a new battery for it. But it works as long as it's plugged in and I'm installing everything as I post this message.
I'll try and be on later tonight.
Signed,
Happy Sunny.

Re: OH MY GOD!!!
Not everlasting, but I have nothing to complain about. Let's just leave it at that.
Anyway I bought this one secondhand. Even though I could doesn't mean I'm gonna go out and buy the most expensivist thing I can buy.
That and it's good to have resources in the IT business.
Oh and LOL!!!!! the GW client has been downloaded. I'm logged in trying to load Embark Beach, so far 1% loaded. 28,838 files remaining >_<
I'll probably have to leave it running overnight.

i think that's due to your connection lol, mine is fairly crappy most of the time and gw client and all maps get downloaded relatively quick, can be wrong though i'm not an expert (YET! )

Re: OH MY GOD!!!
So i after i login and have done the update when loading in ToA, there's Misa in GuildChat saying. "I hope you update with -image?"
No i did not and what does that mean?
Suffive the say it updates everything at once. Every outpost, mission every update there has ever been.
So thnx Misa, after 4 hours of downloading installing and updating. I have another 4 hours of waiting to do before -image is done.
But seriously though. THANK YOU!!!. this'll make updating so much more easier.

Re: OH MY GOD!!!
Yeah my 2nd laptop is a 17 inch DRL. It is a monster and it is nice to actually game on every so often, but a nvidia geforce go 7300 and a 1.8 duo core processor isn't quite the same as 5.8 i7 990x and quad 580s like my desktop.
And thankfully someone told you about the -image line command. If the other laptop boots, you could just save yourself a few hours and just move the .dat file over from 1 laptop to the other, but yeah -image sucks expecially if you haven't downloaded anything yet. If your going to complain about a 5gb file, try doing it with SW:TOR, it was a 22gb download. I had to leave my gaming rig online like all night, which I never do.
