The most valuable weekend events for character development are the ones that double points. Here is approximately when they are scheduled.

Mid January: Double Eye of the North
Late February: Double Faction
Late March: Double SS/LB
Early May: Double Eye of the North
Mid June: Double SS/LB
Late July: Double Eye of the North
Mid August: Double Faction
Mid September: Double SS/LB
